REDSHIFT Creative is looking for a Visual Designer who refuses to separate “brand” from “interface.” You understand that a digital product isn’t just a collection of buttons—it’s the primary way a modern brand speaks to its audience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the visual execution of our digital projects. You’ll take high-level brand concepts and turn them into functional, beautiful, and strategically sound user interfaces. You don’t just follow a design system; you help build it, refine it, and ensure it feels cohesive across every screen.
What You’ll Do
Design Systems: Create and maintain scalable UI kits and brand libraries in Figma.
Visual Direction: Develop moodboards, style explorations, and visual concepts that align with client business goals.
Interface Design: Design end-to-end user interfaces for web and mobile that are both visually stunning and highly functional.
Brand Integration: Ensure that a brand’s unique “voice” is felt through typography, color, spacing, and micro-interactions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Strategy and Engineering teams to ensure design intent is preserved from concept to code.
Responsibilities
Design Execution: Rapidly produce professional and high-quality design assets across digital and print media, including pitch decks, social media graphics, website mockups (UI/UX principles preferred), infographics, and presentation layouts.
Branding Implementation: Apply and adapt new and existing brand guidelines (including color palettes, typography, and visual voice) across all required deliverables with impeccable attention to detail.
Asset Management: Prepare and organize final design files for handoff to development teams, print vendors, or internal stakeholders.
Creative Support: Assist the creative director and strategists by generating mood boards, concept visualizations, and design variations during the initial strategy phases of client projects.
Brand Maintenance: Provide ongoing visual design support for long-term client projects, ensuring newly created assets align with evolving requirements and activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in digital design (Agency or In-house).
- Portfolio Excellence: A strong showcase of UI/UX work and brand identity systems. (We want to see how you handle typography and layout).
- Figma Power-User: You should be comfortable with Auto Layout, Components, and Prototyping.
- Strategic Intuition: You can explain why a specific visual direction supports a client’s goal.
- US-Based: You must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
Bonus Points
Experience with motion design or basic animation (Lottie, After Effects).
A background in traditional graphic design or print (understanding the “roots” of design).
Experience presenting work directly to clients.
